Food Service Worker

Food preparation, serving and clean up of food and equipment for the School Nutrition Department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Food service preparation experience desired
• Be able to read and write English, perform simple arithmetic and follow oral and written direction
• Be able to do considerable standing and have the ability to lift 50 lbs safely
• Ability to relate to children
• Possess good communicative, collaborative, and interpersonal skills

Successful completion of a criminal background check and physical capacity profile test will be required upon offer.

• Responsible for food preparation and acceptability of food before and after preparation

• Responsible for operation, cleaning, and maintaining all types of equipment
• Maintains appearance appropriate to job responsibilities (wear uniform type clothing, hair net covering on the hair, and comfortable, safe rubber-soled shoes)
• Duties and responsibilities as requested by supervisor may vary from time to time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 6:15 am to 2:15 pm
