Key Responsibilities

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for supporting daily Nuclear Medicine operations and providing safe, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures in accordance with established clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
• Operate, test, and assist with Nuclear Medicine equipment and related laboratory systems.
• Prepare and position patients for Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, preparation, and what to expect during examinations.
• Follow all applicable safety, regulatory, and departmental standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure procedures are performed efficiently and professionally.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain excellent organization, attention to detail, and patient service throughout the workday.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist / Nuclear Medicine Technician experience.
• Associate Degree required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist through ARRT .
• Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through NMTCB .
• Nuclear Medicine and CT experience required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
