What You'll Do

• Provide anesthesia support for adult patients undergoing various procedures in a hospital setting
• Collaborate with CRNAs and anesthesia techs to ensure patient safety and high-quality care
• Administer blocks for orthopedic cases and other anesthesia techniques
• Support OR, L&D, and cath lab departments as needed
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Perform full-time coverage, including call rotations, supporting a busy hospital environment

What You Need

• Active PA medical license
• Board-certified or eligible in Anesthesiology
• DEA license
• ACLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of anesthesia practice experience
• Proficiency with orthopedic blocks preferred

About the Assignment

This contract assignment involves working at a 76-bed hospital in Gettysburg, featuring four operating rooms, labor and delivery unit, and catheterization lab. The role supports adult patient populations, with procedural responsibilities tailored to anesthesia care delivery, including support staff collaboration and documentation in EPIC EMR.
