We are seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to support an accounting team in Columbus, OH. This contract-to-hire opportunity will focus primarily on invoice processing and vendor maintenance. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and looking to grow their experience within accounts payable and accounting.
Responsibilities- Process and enter accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
- Review invoices for completeness and assist with resolving discrepancies
- Support vendor maintenance, including new vendor setup and updates to existing vendor information
- Maintain accurate vendor records and supporting documentation
- Respond to internal and vendor inquiries related to invoices or account information
- At least one year of previous accounts payable, accounting, or data-entry experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Interested in a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for long-term employment
