Under the general direction of the Manager II, incumbent is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the functions of the Management Analysis and Mail and Scanning Services sections. Incumbent ensures consistency with the changing business environment, encourages and supports continuous improvement of business processes and provides advice and consultation to departmental staff on all aspects of Department policy, procedure and organizational structure.

We are seeking a candidate with who has the following experience:

Organization and change management principles; knowledge of standard administrative procedures and policies; business process improvement; leadership skills to effectively ensure cooperation and participation of staff creating a team environment to energize and motivate a shared vision; operate at high level of customer service; establish/maintain cooperative relationships; analyze situations, take effective action; evaluate existing enterprise policy and procedure management practices and define procedures to meet the requirements of the Department; compile information, and develop and conduct presentations to Management; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and in front of large and small groups; prepare concise, comprehensive reports and recommendations including policy and procedural analysis; interpret Government Code, policies, and procedures; work independently; plan, lead, organize, train, mentor, manage staff; meet multiple priorities, and short timelines, handle varying, large workload; Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint and MS Teams; use of the Enterprise Policies and Procedures library, using ServiceNow; use of the enterprise business system SAP--Systems, Applications, Products.
