Phlebotomist Part Time

Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and related procedures. Enter patient information accurately and promptly into the system. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Valid California State‑issued Phlebotomy License. At least one month of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience with Labcorp is preferred. Alternative: Application for a phlebotomy license filed with the California Department of Health at the time of hire may satisfy the license requirement. Job Standards Pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Attendance at a two‑week training program in California. Pay & Benefits Pay Range: $21.00 – $33.00 per hour. Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program for PSTs under the PST Incentive Plan. Employees scheduled for 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled for fewer than 20 hours per week are eligible only for the 401(k) Plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible for all benefits listed above except PTO or FTO.
