ICU Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting.Position DetailsShift: NightsShift Length: 12 hoursGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekWeekend Requirements: Self-schedule a minimum of six weekend shifts per six-week scheduleHoliday Requirements: YesUnit InformationUnit Type: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)Number of Beds: 10Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2ResponsibilitiesThe ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for:Providing critical care and supporting patients with various conditions including abdominal pain, chest pain, fever, cough, dyspnea, headache, injuries, extremity pain, and insulin gtt administration.Titrating drips, including vasopressors, inotropes, sedatives, analgesics, and metabolic medications.Floating to other units as needed, including PCU/Stepdown and MS-Tele, and assisting as a CNA if required.Collaborating with healthcare teams, including Hospitalists or Intensivists present in-house.QualificationsYears of Experience Required: 2 years in a critical care settingRequired Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSSExperience with Titration: RequiredAbility to Read Telemetry Strips: Required; telemetry monitoring tech available 24/7Additional InformationThis position involves participation in a unit-specific orientation program. Please be prepared to be on-site for this training. Scrub color is navy blue.Successful candidates will be experienced ICU RNs who can provide exceptional patient care in a high-stakes environment.
