The Role

This is a dedicated roll-off sales position, and roll-off is all you'll focus on. We have an established book of business, but we're nowhere near our capacity — and that's where you come in. You'll be building your own book from the ground up, going door to door across southeast Michigan and turning handshakes into long-term customers.

Your day is boots-on-the-ground. You'll be out meeting people, cold-calling businesses in person, and forming the kind of relationships that keep customers coming back job after job. This isn't about chasing one-time deals. It's about being hungry enough to knock on the door and patient enough to keep showing up until that account becomes a loyal customer for years.

You'll be working with blue-collar businesses — roofing, restoration, construction, general contractors, industrial and manufacturing companies, and property managers. These are genuine, down-to-earth people, and they respond to a straight shooter who's reliable and easy to work with.

Who We're Looking For

The right person is interactive, personable, and sharp with logistics. You've got thick skin — door-to-door work means hearing "no" plenty, and you keep knocking with the same energy. You're a self-starter who can manage your own days out on the territory and hold yourself accountable. Above all, you're likeable, truthful, and sincere, because in this job, you're really selling yourself and our company more than anything else.

Knowing our area and the type of customers you'll be talking to is important. Local roots are a plus but not a requirement.

No Experience? No Problem.

Prior sales experience would be great, but it is not required. In fact, many of our current team members — including several in our sales department — came in with no background in the waste or hauling industry at all, and they've grown to love the work and thrive at it. Our service isn't difficult to sell and the learning curve is small. If you're willing to step out of your comfort zone and put your full effort into something, we'll teach you the rest.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Comfortable meeting new people and building long-term business relationships
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, with the ability to quickly learn new software, web-based platforms, and mobile applications used in day-to-day operations
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Sales experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right individual with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
