What You'll Do

• Deliver engaging classroom instruction and hands-on phlebotomy training.
• Prepare students with the technical knowledge and practical skills needed for industry-recognized certifications.
• Utilize the provided curriculum while maintaining student records and basic classroom documentation.
• Mentor and encourage students by sharing real-world experiences, best practices, and professional expectations from today's healthcare environment.

What You Bring

We're excited to hear from professionals with backgrounds such as: CPT, PBT, RPT, NCPT, Phlebotomist.

• Minimum of 3 years of recent phlebotomy experience OR at least 1 year of experience teaching phlebotomy courses.
• Active PBT (ASCP), RPT (AMT), CPT (NHA), NCPT (NCCT), or equivalent nationally recognized phlebotomy certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teaching, mentoring, coaching, precepting, or training experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to successfully complete FBI fingerprinting/background screening.

Location & Schedule

• Location: 1701 Kingsway, Del Rio, TX. 78840
• Program: Phlebotomy
• Commitment: 1 Semester
• Days: Monday - Friday
• Time:8:00-12:00, 12:00-4:00, 10:00-2:00

• Flexible based on instructor availability
• Typical class length: 1.5 hours
• Most instructional commitments average approximately 3 hours per class session, including preparation and classroom responsibilities
  

Compensation

• $85-$92 per instructional session (based on experience and certifications)
• Flexible 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity
