Behavioral Health Psychiatric Supervisor

Under the supervision of the Clinical Director of the Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital Division of Infant, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (ICAP) this position, held by Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Staff Psychologist or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, will provide direct care and clinical supervision of clinical staff ensuring high quality evidence-based care, adherence to best practices and compliance with regulatory standards in adolescent mental health intensive treatment. The incumbent is responsible for providing individual, group and family psychotherapy services to teens and families enrolled in IOP or PHP.Required QualificationsDoctorate or Masters’ degree in social work, psychology, or related field from an accredited university.Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a LCSW, MFT, or LPCC or California Board of Psychology as a PsychologistFive years of related work experience including three in a lead/supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the positionProficient in evidence-based practices and empirically supported treatments for adolescents and families/caregiversKnowledge of psychiatric service operations and ability to apply concepts in an intensive care setting.Demonstrated experience in behavioral health program management skills, with progressive expertise in the supervision of clinical staff and/or management of clinical programs.
