Canadian Executive Search Group is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for a growing accounting organization in the Miami, FL area. This is a Direct Hire opportunity for an accounting professional who can independently manage multiple client accounts from start to finish.


Bilingual English/Spanish is REQUIRED.

Salary: $60,000-$70,000

What You'll Do

• Manage a portfolio of recurring bookkeeping clients and serve as a primary point of contact
• Review bookkeeping work for accuracy and proper accounting treatment
• Identify and correct errors and provide feedback to bookkeeping support teams
• Handle full-cycle bookkeeping, including reconciliations, journal entries, AP, AR, payroll entries, loans, and fixed assets
• Complete month-end and year-end close procedures and prepare books for tax work
• Prepare and review Balance Sheets, P&L Statements, and supporting schedules
• Work closely with tax professionals during year-end
• Communicate directly with clients and explain financial results
• Follow up with clients regarding missing information and documentation
• Coordinate work with internal and external bookkeeping teams

• Previous experience managing multiple bookkeeping clients
• Strong full-charge/full-cycle bookkeeping experience
• Advanced QuickBooks Online AND QuickBooks Desktop skills - REQUIRED
• Experience preparing books for tax returns
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations, journal entries, payroll accounting, AP, AR, loans, fixed assets, and balance sheet accounts
• Ability to review another bookkeeper's work and independently make corrections
• Strong client communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience working with or delegating to bookkeeping assistants or external accounting teams
• Bilingual English/Spanish - REQUIRED
