Therapist Physical PRN

Job Summary Location: Baylor Scott & White, 2600 E. Pflugerville Parkway, Pflugerville, TX 78660. Shift: PRN, 8‑hour day, on‑call. Must be available for weekends. The Physical Therapist PRN cares for patients by evaluating, planning, implementing treatment, educating, and planning discharge to maximize function. Essential Functions Of The Role Evaluates, treats and monitors patients, modifying therapy program and goals. Performs thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner, enters charges accurately, and understands reimbursement related to practice setting. Communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers and the medical care team, providing education to patients, family and staff. Supervises ancillary staff, students and volunteers. Advances clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review and implementation of evidence‑based practice. Imparts knowledge to develop the clinical skills of colleagues and adheres to organizational, national and state regulatory guidelines. Maintains awareness of system goals, aligning personal goals and work activities to uphold or impact them. Key Success Factors Possesses problem‑solving skills necessary to accomplish the job. Has good communication skills, relating professionally and positively to patients, their family members and facility staff. Exhibits proven synergy and leadership skills with all levels of the healthcare team, assuring excellent customer service to patients, visitors, physicians and coworkers. Possesses proficient computer knowledge; operates multiple computer systems and standard rehabilitation equipment. Shows high attention to detail in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment. Can multitask effectively while maintaining a high level of productivity. Qualifications Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification. Experience: Less than 1 year of experience (requirements may be flexible).
