Volt is immediately hiring a Distribution Center Clerk (Warehouse Associate) 10 Openings in Melville, NY!

As a Distribution Center Clerk (Warehouse Associate), you will:

• Unload inbound trucks and shipments safely and efficiently
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming inventory
• Open, unpack, sort, and process shipments
• Stock products and materials in designated warehouse locations
• Apply labels, barcodes, and repack items as needed
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and productivity standards
• Support shipping, receiving, and general distribution center operations

This is a full-time opportunity.

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM ET

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to learn and operate warehouse equipment, including:
• Electric pallet jack
• Hi-Lo/Forklift equipment
• Wave machine and warehouse lifts
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with ability to read numbers
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work safely and efficiently under deadlines
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed

Work Environment

• Combination of standing, walking, and sitting throughout the shift
• Frequent handling of boxes, packages, and inventory materials
• Detail-oriented work requiring accurate product verification and data entry

Pay Rate: $15.00 $18.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
