Infrastructure Consultant Difference between this role and the old ones filled for EIP is now they are picking up a new workstream à client implementation. Current role is to build reusable components (terraform, jar etc.) which will now need to be more customized to the client. They will all have custom spark jobs etc. – they make the ‘bricks’, and they are going to take on more of the implementation of the end clients. This new team will be maintained as a separate workstream, so everything is custom. Skillset is essentially the exact same as Srini…here are some of the differences/high-level notes: Must Have: Primary is SETTING UP the Infrastructure – Azure / Terraform Spark – do want to see more basics i.e. build clusters and test them out to make sure it works Databricks / ETL Good comm Partner with a BA (so they are not gathering requirements), but they will have to talk to the client that they are implementing the solution for Nice to Have: More Active Directory experience & Synapse would be really nice Project Description: OptumInsight is working to create a plug & play analytics software for their customers, Enterprise Intelligence Platform. This software would be push-button development for clients. Usually this type of service is sold as a SaaS. Their customers are Providers who want to evaluate data regarding facility engagement, facility encounters, duration of stay, etc. Apex will provide a combined onshore and nearshore Scrum Development team to assist in building the Optum Enterprise Intelligence Platform (EIP) that can be used to build insights into Optum’s customers’ strategic workflows and needs. The platform will be customizable for various Optum’s customers and extensible to add features around data acquisition, data transformation, data validation and insight generation. Optum must produce a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) by October to deliver “first insights” with EIP. The contract with Apex is through October, but will almost certainly go longer.
