The position requires a Certified Surgical Technologist to work in an operating room setting. Candidates must possess experience in General Surgery, Robotics, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Gynecology, Eyes, and Urology. On-call duty is mandatory, requiring four week days and one and a half weekends every four weeks. Travelers will float between service lines as needed. Client badge must be provided by the agency; the facility does not provide radiation badges. Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Prior experience in all relevant areas is necessary for first-time travelers. No blocks schedule accommodations are guaranteed and will require management approval. All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application. This is an acute care hospital with a total of 286 staffed beds. Scrubs will be provided, and the preferred charting system is Epic. The traveler must be aware of hurricane season implications, as all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams. Candidates must follow all compliance procedures and meet pre-start requirements in a timely manner.
