The ability to manage multiple commodities through analytics and leadership, will be beneficial as this person launches new initiatives and ensures success of existing contracts. WHAT IS EXPECTED (Essential Functions):- Communicate with cross-functional teams to identify potential sourcing projects and build stakeholder collaboration.- Develops and implements effective sourcing strategies. - Prioritizes projects for assigned commodities, leads strategy development, manages RFI and RFP processes, leads negotiations and ensures contract completion. - Comfortable working in high pressure situations with tight deadlines- Experienced in communication with executive level employees- Lead a team consisting of a Sourcing Manager- Must have experience in change management with a large organization- Provides ongoing communication to Supply Chain leadership and stakeholders on activities and status. - Develops vendor management strategy and performance scorecard. - Monitors and manages performance with support of Strategic Sourcing Director. - Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:- Exceptional relationship building, interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.- Experienced in managing Indirect Spend and Contracting with preferred emphasis on Construction, Hospitality Services and Facilities Management- Extensive experience in leading negotiations on highly complex service agreements is a must- Strong analytical skills with ability to comb through large data sets to perform accurate feedback on financials- Must possess ability to think strategically and translate implications of analyses into sourcing strategies. - Strong knowledge of assigned commodities and materials management principles and practices.- Experienced in developing and motivating cohort to improve effectiveness of team.- Must be comfortable with conflict and willing to challenge conventional thinking, even from senior level management.
