Handyman for Luxury Multifamily Building in Brooklyn

Large Greenpoint Luxury Residential Property looking for experienced handyman to maintain an attractive, safe and pleasing environment for residents, perform routine maintenance in the common areas, apartments and building mechanicals. Previous experience is required in addition to general knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, HVAC and mechanical trades. The ideal candidate will also be able to operate tools and equipment necessary for this role. Handyman will be work with the Superintendent to make sure all preventative maintenance assignments are complete and all urgent requests are handled.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a residential high-rise or like position preferred
Must have customer service skills and the ability to communicate with supervision, residents and colleagues
Must be physically capable to handle the role which includes heavy lifting, climbing, bending, squatting, and stretching
Any candidate must be reliable and dependable with the ability to work overtime as needed
Willing to learn new skills
Must be a team player and have the ability to work independently with minimal instruction
Must be able to work the following schedule:
Monday: OFF
Tuesday:12PM to 8:30PM
Wednesday: 12PM to 8:30 PM
Thursday: 12PM to 8:30 PM
Friday: 12PM to 8:30 PM
Saturday: 12PM to 8:30 PM
Sunday: OFF
