Sonographer OBGYN (72885)

Role Overview The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records findings, including routine and specialized procedures. Responsibilities Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines. Completes fetal surveys. Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans. Evaluates the images for their quality, and interprets the captured data. Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record. Represents clinic in a professional manner, treating all customers, internal and external, courteously. Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development. Demonstrates and embodies Women’s Care mission and core values. Complies with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification. Minimum of 2 years of recent OBGYN experience. Experience with 3D-4D scans. Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline‑oriented environment. Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, providers and patients. Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system; eCW a plus. Dependable, reliable, and punctual.
