Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Henrico, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing a variety of nuclear medicine exams using GE equipment, providing quality patient care, and maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all nuclear medicine examinations as per standard protocols.
• Ensure patient comfort and understanding of the procedures.
• Utilize the MEDITECH documentation system for accurate recording of patient data.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Certification from NMTCB or ARRT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Prior experience in nuclear medicine preferred.
