Radiologic Technologist, CT Technologist

To provide diagnostic imaging services to patients using various imaging modalities. Ensuring accurate image acquisition, patient safety, and optimal patient care is essential. Prioritize patient education by explaining procedures and equipment. Demonstrates advanced knowledge in radiographic procedures, including X-ray and Fluoroscopy. Performs all exams based on departmental protocols or protocols set by the Radiologist. Practices radiation safety, adhering to ALARA standards. Operates equipment following manufacturer's recommendations. Troubleshoots equipment problems and independently contacts a service engineer when necessary. Verifies exam orders and identifies the patient through two means of identification. Provides education related to the exam to the patient. Reviews and documents the patient's medical history and obtains required informed consent. Ensures all necessary paperwork and prior studies are complete prior to procedures. Maintains accurate patient records in the electronic health record system. May be required to perform additional functions within the clinic as needed. Demonstrates flexibility by assisting in other modalities and adjusting schedules. Takes call, overtime, or holiday shifts as necessary. Obtains additional training or certification as required. Assists with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation when necessary. Aids in training or cross-training imaging staff members as directed. Must be self-motivated and able to use independent judgment. Orders, stocks, and maintains supply inventory. Performs other duties as assigned. Demonstrates full commitment to organizational values. Exhibits initiative and self-motivation while managing time and responsibilities effectively. Completes all required annual education, training, and licensure updates. Reports to work punctually and completes assigned duties within established timeframes. Actively contributes to performance improvement initiatives and quality initiatives. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintains adherence to safety and risk management procedures.
