HIRING PAINT SHOP HELPERS - AURORA, CO

A well‑established industrial fabrication company specializing in conveyor systems for warehouse and airport operations is seeking a Paint Shop Helper to support their growing production team. This organization builds and assembles large‑scale material handling systems and provides employees with long‑term career growth, including advancement into Industrial Painter roles.

Location: Aurora, CO

Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Overtime available depending on workload

Role Overview:

The Paint Shop Helper plays a key role in the paint department by preparing, handling, and moving parts throughout the painting process. This is a hands‑on position suited for individuals with mechanical aptitude, comfort using tools, and a strong work ethic. While the work is repetitive, it offers a clear pathway to advance into skilled industrial painting positions for dependable, motivated team members.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist painters with part preparation

• Hang components on an automated conveyor system for painting

• Mask, prep, and stage parts prior to paint application

• Remove painted parts from hangers and prepare them for packaging

• Palletize finished products for shipment

• Perform general shop and production support tasks

• Operate a sandblaster when needed

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting ability

• Experience using hand and power tools

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift

• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Reliable attendance and positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industrial painting experience

• Powder coating experience

• Blueprint reading skills

• Forklift experience

• Prior manufacturing or production experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
