Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years preferred, but will consider candidates with strong skillsets if they have less than 2 years of experience License: Active RN state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI Must-Have: Experience in Emergency Department Ability to manage all age ranges from infants to geriatrics Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills Description: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide care in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency department. Daily patient census averages 130, serving a wide range of age groups and medical needs. Staff will be required to maintain a patient ratio of 1:4. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend, and holiday work is included as scheduled. Floating within the specialty may be required depending on staffing needs. Candidates must possess a strong skill set in various emergency situations, including but not limited to abdominal pain, respiratory issues, and managing severe psychiatric conditions. Experience with IV management, triage, and the ability to perform essential emergency procedures is necessary.
