Financial Analyst

Position Summary Financial Analyst – Employee Benefits As a member of the financial consulting team, you will provide financial reporting and analytics to a subset of HUB clients. The focus is on self‑funded and ASO clients, delivering cost‑management data and solutions that impact the bottom line. You will support RFP responses, finalist presentations, and client renewal presentations as required. Responsibilities Provide detailed and accurate financial reporting for HUB clients, especially HR and C‑suite representatives. Produce client‑facing reports including regular reporting, independent underwriting and renewal analysis, renewal projections, IBNR estimation, actuarial analysis, and budgeting. Manage multiple deadlines and workflows in a fast‑paced, team environment while maintaining high levels of internal and external communication. Obtain and compile client data from vendor partners. Assist in developing, enhancing, and maintaining underwriting methods and techniques. Develop and apply data analytics skills relevant to employee benefits. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of carrier products, networks, cost‑management solutions, and funding mechanisms. Contribute to client service and sales enhancement by staying informed of industry trends. Manage the workflow of all cases defined within the EB teams across Texas. Skills & Abilities Willingness to obtain or already hold a Life and Health General Lines Insurance license. Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving skills. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products. Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced team environment. Detail‑oriented, well‑organized, and capable of managing a high‑volume workload with competing demands. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Required Experience Less than 1 year of relevant experience. Required Travel No travel required. Required Education High school or equivalent.
