IT Operations Technician

Kforce has a client seeking an IT Operations Technician on a contract basis in Pittsburgh, PA. Summary: The IT Operations Technician will be tasked with communicating shift operations and issues, providing team members with customer service and service assistance as needed, and will also be responsible for conducting research to identify ways of improving on current processes/procedures. The IT Operations Technician will be required to monitor the organization's facility equipment and environment and manage enterprise batch job processing.

• Associate degree in is preferred, but not required
• Must have knowledge of IT operations processes and software (batch, monitoring, file transfer and backups)
• Must have strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, skills
• Must be able to demonstrate collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication are required
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
