Location Queens, New York Shift: Swing/Mid (United States of America) Description: Registered Nurse – Per-Diem | Trude Weishaupt Satellite Dialysis Center At NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, nursing is more than a profession—it’s a calling. We’re seeking a compassionate and adaptable per diem Registered Nurse to support both our Outpatient Dialysis services at the Trude Weishaupt Satellite Dialysis Center. What You’ll Do: Educate patients and caregivers on dialysis techniques Provide direct patient care in the chronic dialysis unit as needed Conduct assessments to ensure patient readiness and safety for home therapy Monitor patient progress and troubleshoot issues both remotely and in person Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans Offer emotional support and guidance to patients transitioning to or from home therapy Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development This is a per diem position based at our Trude Weishaupt Satellite Dialysis Center in Queens. Preferred Criteria: At least five years of acute care RN experience in Dialysis At least two years of chronic care RN experience in Dialysis Master’s Degree in Nursing BONENT or NNCB certification Required Criteria: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Current New York State RN license BCLS Certification from the American Heart Association Why Join Us?
