Manufacturing TechnicianThe Manufacturing Technician supports production by following detailed manufacturing plans, assembling and inspecting parts, and ensuring high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role emphasizes safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow manufacturing plans, specifications, and SOPs to complete production tasks.Verify materials, parts, and tools are available before starting work.Assemble, lay up, inspect, and package parts according to quality standards.Perform in-process and final inspections, identifying defects and Foreign Object Debris (FOD).Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles.Properly handle tools, equipment, hazardous materials, and required PPE.Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, RCCA, and Lean Manufacturing activities.Identify process issues, recommend solutions, and contribute to operational efficiency.Collaborate effectively with team members and meet production schedules and quality expectations.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or production experience.Ability to follow detailed work instructions and specifications.Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety.Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or continuous improvement programs.Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn.Comfortable working overtime as needed.Work EnvironmentManufacturing/production setting with a strong focus on safety and quality.Frequent standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting up to 30 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.Mandatory use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.Opportunities for overtime and professional growth in a collaborative, improvement-focused environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayden, ID.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
