Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Physical Therapist, you play a vital role in helping patients regain strength, restore mobility, and rebuild confidence following illness, injury, or surgery. Working closely with physicians and the care team, you'll assess each patient's needs and create personalized therapy plans designed around meaningful goals, active engagement, and exceptional patient outcomes. 1. Responsible for clinical management of the patient.

2. Assures satisfaction of customers (patients, visitors, physicians and staff), upholding ICARE values

3. Participates and understands Quality Management activities.

4. Demonstrates effective communication skills.

5. Demonstrates understanding of hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

6. Promotes cost effective unit operations.

7. Documents care utilizing the appropriate tools.

8 Maintains competencies in clinical areas and is responsible for professional growth and development.

9. Complies with professional, regulatory, governmental and departmental standards

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION: Graduate of an APTA accredited school of physical

AHA Healthcare Provider CPR

LICENSURE: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Virginia

EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in an acute care facility preferred; new graduates considered
