Estimating Manager

Estimating Manager

Looking for an Estimating Manager to lead the bid process on commercial construction projects, from early strategy through GMP submission. You'll own trade partner relationships, run bid day, and mentor junior estimators along the way.

What you'll be doing:

Lead bid and GMP assembly with minimal oversight, including compiling and submitting all deliverables
Prepare detailed estimates across all design phases, divisions 3 through 16 (plus division 2 for base building work)
Run constructability reviews and lead value engineering / alternates development
Coordinate scope writing and qualifications across divisions 2, 15, and 16
Identify and align trade partners for the right market sector and scope
Attend pre-bid meetings, lead trade walk-throughs, and present at bid day
Manage RFIs, addenda, and overall document distribution
Coach and develop junior estimating staff

What you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or equivalent experience
5+ years estimating experience in commercial construction
Experience leading bids and trade coordination
Strong grasp of safety, quality, constructability, and sustainability standards on the estimating side
Leadership-level communication skills, comfortable presenting to clients and internal teams
