Educational Sign Language Interpreter

BlueCloud Staffing is seeking a qualified Educational Sign Language Interpreter to support an elementary school student in Spartanburg, South Carolina for the upcoming school year.

Position Details:

Full-time, school-based position
Elementary school setting
Monday-Friday schedule aligned with the school calendar
Competitive hourly compensation
Weekly pay

Responsibilities:

Provide interpreting services for a deaf or hard-of-hearing student throughout the school day
Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, staff, and peers
Interpret classroom instruction, school activities, and related educational services
Collaborate with the educational team to support student success

Qualifications:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
3.5 or higher EIPA score meeting South Carolina requirements
Previous educational interpreting experience preferred
Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
