About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Director, Assistant General Counsel to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a legal leader and strategic business partner, providing essential support for the development and commercialization of transformative therapies in the oncology and rare disease space. This critical role involves serving as a trusted advisor on legal, regulatory, and business matters, with a focus on enabling the company's mission while managing legal and compliance risks in a highly regulated environment. The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to, strategic legal counsel, clinical development and research support, regulatory and product counsel, commercial and medical affairs support, healthcare compliance and ethics, business development and corporate transactions, and privacy and data governance. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, be an active member of a U.S. state bar, and have at least 12 years of legal experience, with a significant portion in the biopharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FDA regulatory frameworks, clinical development, and healthcare compliance, as well as experience in strategic transactions and product commercialization. The role requires exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives, and a commitment to ethical leadership. A pragmatic, business-oriented approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are essential.
