Pay Rate: $18 per hour Summary:
- Work Mode: Onsite
- Location: US-Worcester
- 5:30am-2pm
- Perform operations required to assemble and pack various products according to customer orders.
- Maintain necessary records for all operations.
- Check completed parts to ensure compliance with Worcester Plant Quality standards and make necessary adjustments.
- Assemble low-volume, high-complexity products using hand and power tools, including drills, circular saws, screwdrivers, and wrenches.
- Operate packaging/wrapping equipment and palletize complete units.
- Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary.
- Adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions, including the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist the team in achieving plant and department goals by flexing when needed.
- Support on-the-job training and continuous improvement.
- Foster an environment that promotes the company's goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50-mile radius) will be considered.
- High school diploma or GED-equivalent.
- Minimum 3 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 months of experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures, blueprints, and work orders.
- Ability to recognize mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to use a crane once fully trained to lift items.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive motion including lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
- Ability to wear required PPE for the role including safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, and protective arm and hand coverings.
- Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of basic shop math, assembly, and configuration.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to use measuring equipment, hand and power tools, or saw.
