Primary Care Physician

About the Role

Primary Care Physician to join a brand‑new location in Litchfield Crossings, New Milford, CT (85 miles from NYC). This full‑time position offers a highly regarded practice with limited on‑call obligations and a collegial environment alongside three physicians. The practice serves adult patients 18+ in a family‑friendly location with potential teaching opportunities for medical students and residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, team‑based care for adult patients, managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Promote wellness across an entire patient panel.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff in a collegial setting.
• Participate in teaching medical students and residents.
• Perform off‑hour coverage on a shared schedule (phone calls only) with nurse triage.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Connecticut State License, Federal DEA and State Controlled Substance Registration.
• Completed a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Residency.
• Experience as a Primary Care Physician or new graduate resident; chief resident experience preferred for potential leadership.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Must be willing to share off‑hour coverage with other providers.

Salary range: $275,000‑$285,000 annually commensurate or relative to experience.
