Forrest City Medical Center is a118 bed Acute Care facility located 40 minutes west of Memphis, TN and less than 90 miles for Little Rock, AR. 2 shifts per week required (12 hour shifts) Premium Tier II PRN Differential added to base hourly rate Job Summary: Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Qualifications: Registered nurse licensure to work in the State of Arkansas. Requires an associate's degree in nursing. Prefer bachelor’s degree in nursing. Minimum of one year Women's Services experience required. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Qualifications Education Required Associates or better in Nursing.
