Summary Innovative Surfaces is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Residential Project Coordinator to manage countertop/vanity/other surfacing projects in the residential remodel and new construction industry, from quote acceptance through installation to project completion. The individual in this role serves as the primary point of contact for homeowners, builders, contractors, and internal departments, ensuring projects move efficiently, customer expectations are met, and exceptional service is delivered throughout the process. What You’ll Do Coordinate residential projects from order entry through completion and post-installation follow-up. Serve as the primary contact for customers, contractors, builders, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle. Ability to manage customer expectations, resolve concerns professionally, and build lasting relationships through exceptional service. Deliver an outstanding customer experience through proactive communication, timely follow-up, and professional issue resolution. Keep customers informed regarding project schedules, lead times, product availability, site readiness requirements, and installation timelines. Coordinate scheduling activities and communicate any updates, delays, or project changes. Monitor project progress through measuring, drafting, fabrication, installation, and project closeout job phases. Review project details for accuracy and completeness throughout the project process. Process and coordinate change orders and ensure proper documentation is maintained. Identify potential project challenges and work collaboratively with customers and internal teams to develop solutions. Coordinate warranty, repair, and service work after project completion as needed. Maintain accurate project records and status updates within company systems. What We’re Looking For Residential remodeling, construction, or closely related experience required. Countertop fabrication and installation knowledge preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Ability to read prints and understand measurements and specifications. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. More Details Monday–Friday day shifts with overtime as needed Office-based role with some exposure to the shop floor Opportunity to grow in a dynamic, hands-on role This is a non-exempt hourly position. Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience. Overtime premium pay after 40 hours in a workweek. Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
