DIVISION OVERVIEW Crown’s Beverage Division manufactures packaging solutions for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees, teas, and new energy drinks. LOCATION SugarLand, Texas POSITION OVERVIEW The Manufacturing Supervisor works closely with the Plant Manager and Plant Superintendent to ensure the production of a quality product that meets or exceeds customer expectations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate and supervise activities of equipment and personnel throughout the facility, focusing on Safety, Quality, Productivity and Spoilage. Communicate all pertinent information between departments and shifts regarding equipment changes, production schedules, problems, or other related information. Work with employees to identify, discuss solutions, and implement fixes for machinery and equipment problems. Perform and facilitate on‑the‑job training and coaching of all employees as needed. Apply knowledge of processes, production methods, and techniques to improve plant production. Manage machinery set‑up and adjustment; inspect products to ensure compliance with standards. Oversee quality and recommend modifications of existing standards to achieve optimal performance. Complete and administer documentation such as production sheets, pallet ticketing, job progressions, disciplinary actions, monthly SAFE cards, time and attendance, accident reports, and process control sheets. OTHER JOB‑RELATED DUTIES Performs other job‑related duties as required or assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements High School Education or GED. Five to seven years of experience in a high‑speed manufacturing environment. At least three years of proven supervisory experience. Availability to work various shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime. Preferred Requirements Bachelor’s degree. Packaging industry experience. Knowledge of Six Sigma, SPC, and Lean Manufacturing. PHYSICAL & WORKING CONDITIONS Physically required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May lift up to 50 pounds. Requires close, distance, color vision. Works in a plant environment, occasional office duties, exposure to moving parts, vehicular traffic, wide temperature ranges, frequently loud noise.
