Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Temecula, CA

This opportunity is focused on supporting three medically fragile classrooms, working alongside another experienced SLP and a dedicated SLPA. The assignment begins August 10, 2026, and is anticipated to continue through December 2026, with the potential for extension through the school year. This position is covering a maternity leave, allowing you to contribute within a supportive, collaborative environment while further developing your expertise. Key Qualifications: Valid SLP-CCC and credentials for school-based speech-language pathology in California Clinical experience in elementary school settings, particularly with medically fragile students Proficiency and hands-on work with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Primary Responsibilities: Provide direct and consultative speech therapy to students in medically fragile classrooms Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress Collaborate closely with classroom staff, another SLP, and a SLPA for coordinated care Educate and support teachers and families on AAC device use and communication strategies Maintain compliance with IEP goals, state, and district requirements Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions as needed This role offers a weekly schedule of approximately 32.5–35 hours, allowing you to maintain professional balance while pursuing your passion for service.
