Job Description
MRI Technologist - Night Shift

Schedule

This position requires a 12-hour night shift schedule with no on-call requirements. Flexibility is essential as the schedule may include 1-2 weekends per month and adjustments based on patient care needs.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role will require working in a teaching hospital environment and will involve direct interaction with patients and staff to provide high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans according to established protocols and standards.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment, ensuring quality imaging.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document MRI procedures and maintain accurate patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT or ARMRIT license in MRI.
• Advanced MR licensure required.
• Experience with Philips MRI systems is mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience, preferably in travel assignments.
• Epic experience within the last 2 years is non-negotiable.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.
