Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations using Philips MRI systems, ensuring image quality and protocol adherence.
- Screen patients for MRI safety, obtain consent when required, and monitor patients throughout the exam.
- Position patients, select coils, and adjust imaging parameters per orders and department protocols.
- Maintain infection control and safety standards; verify orders in the electronic medical record (Epic) and document findings.
- Collaborate with radiologists and radiology teammates; coordinate weekend coverage (1-2 weekends per month) and stay flexible to meet unit needs.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.

Requirements
- Active ARRT or ARMRIT radiologic technologist license; MR advanced licensure required.
- MRI Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency) accepted.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year MRI experience; Phillips MRI system experience required.
- Epic experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable).
- Teaching hospital experience and prior travel experience preferred.
