Volt is hiring Production Workers for a leading manufacturing company located in American Canyon, CA.

Responsibilities of the position:

• Apply color using brushes and sprayers.
• Pack quality products.
• Handle stone materials and stack pallets.
• Depending on the position, training in the use of power tools and leveling tools may be provided.
• Perform quality system audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Know and apply the general production process online, including but not limited to packaging, stacking, and sorting of products.
• Comply with all site guidelines regarding the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and equipment rotation.
• Know and understand area safety requirements.
• Identify and apply quality standards on the production line.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with team members.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within manufacturing.

Type of position: Full-time, with possibility of permanent hiring.

Schedule: Monday to Saturday (Saturday shifts are mandatory)

• AM: 4:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• PM: 1:00 PM – 12:00 AM

The ideal candidate should have:

• Ability to work in extreme temperatures (indoor or outdoor).
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements.
• Repetitive flexion or torsion.
• Work in environments with constant noise above 85 decibels (hearing protection required).
• Manipulate, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Lift, move, or transport objects up to 50 pounds.
• Climb or descend stairs.
• Ability to work in environments with dust, chemicals, and other substances.
• Use all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision, and helmet protection).
• Steel-toe safety boots are required.

Preferred skills:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within the manufacturing sector.
• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work independently and be self-directed.
• Capable of multitasking.
• Excellent work ethic.

Pay: $20 per hour
