With opportunities to grow, and a culture built around community and connection, LPQ offers a restaurant environment where you will build skills, feel valued, and take pride in the work you do every day.As part of Convive Brands, you’ll have opportunities to grow your career across a portfolio of restaurant concepts, including California Pizza Kitchen and Little Beet.At LPQ, you’re not just working a job, you’re joining a place where you can develop your skills and career, take pride in your work, and be part of building a strong community.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesOversee all culinary functions, including but not limited to food purchasing, receiving, preparation and maintenance of quality standards, safety, sanitation, and cleanlinessTrain hourly culinary team members on recipes, food safety, equipment, and all standard operating proceduresEnsure all menu items served meets or exceeds our standard of excellenceMaintain full knowledge of all recipes, including seasonal offeringsComplete all role responsibilities effectively with limited supervision while demonstrating strong leadership and motivating othersHandle any team member disputes or situations with genuine empathy and elevate to the Sr Kitchen Manager as necessaryComplete all opening, mid, and closing procedures; complete daily checklist and side work assignmentsFacilitate receiving and maintenance of incoming deliveriesConduct weekly inventoryKeep all areas of the kitchen and restaurant clean and organized by following cleaning checklistsAssist with setting up patio furniture and maintenance of outside fixtures and seating area, if applicable for the locationAny other task that you may be called upon to complete by your direct supervisorQualifications6 to 12 months of related restaurant experience or trainingFood Handler’s Certification or ability to acquireFlexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not requiredGeneral administrative and computer skills strongly preferredAbility to speak, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work locationBenefitsEnrollment in Company-contributed health coverage planAccrued Paid Time Off401k with up to 4% match after ninety (90) days of employmentPre-tax commuter benefits (in applicable States)Team member discounts at all our brandsThe hourly pay range (plus tips, when eligible) is:$20.00 - $25.00Convive Brands is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
