Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Finastra GPP (Global PAYplus) Subject Matter Expert (SME) with recent hands-on configuration experience to support critical payment platform initiatives. This role requires deep functional and technical expertise in payment processing, system configuration, and integration within Finastra GPP .
The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, configuring, and optimizing payment workflows while ensuring system stability, compliance, and performance across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly experienced Finastra GPP (Global PAYplus) Subject Matter Expert (SME) with recent hands-on configuration experience to support critical payment platform initiatives. This role requires deep functional and technical expertise in payment processing, system configuration, and integration within Finastra GPP .
The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, configuring, and optimizing payment workflows while ensuring system stability, compliance, and performance across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end configuration and implementation of Finastra GPP modules
- Perform hands-on system configuration , including payment routing, message flows, and processing rules
- Support real-time and batch payment processing (SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, RTGS, etc.)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate payment requirements into GPP configurations
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks Work closely with integration teams on interfaces with upstream/downstream systems
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and payment standards
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and migrations
- Provide SME-level guidance during UAT, SIT, and production support phases
- Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with Finastra GPP configuration
- Recent Experience Required: Active GPP project experience within the last 2-3 years
- Deep understanding of payment processing systems and workflows
- Experience with payment message formats (ISO 20022, SWIFT MT/MX)
- Strong knowledge of banking/payment domains (ACH, SEPA, RTGS, Wire, Instant Payments)
- Experience in system integration, APIs, and middleware
- Ability to analyze complex requirements and deliver scalable configuration solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Prior experience in banking or financial services environments
- Exposure to payment transformation or migration programs
- Familiarity with cloud environments and modern payment architectures
- Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments
