Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.85 / Hour Job Schedule Tue: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location. Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter routes, and/or other assigned areas to help identify potential concerns and support security-related operations. Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials and/or visitor information, and document activity involving personnel, vehicles, and/or deliveries as required by the location. Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding security-related issues, maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or incidents observed during patrols. Minimum Requirements Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
