ResponsibilitiesPeraton is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst in our Linthicum, MD office in support of our Department of Defense (DoD) customer as part of a highly talented, highly motivated, and high-performing team. You will work cross-functionally to understand business needs, develop insightful analyses, and create compelling data visualizations.*This position requires full-time, onsite attendance Monday through Friday in the Baltimore metropolitan area.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 8+ years relevant experience, or Master's degree and 6+ years relevant experience, or 3+ years with PhD. A degree in one of the following fields is highly desired: Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.Active Secret security clearance.Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.Expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.Experience with data visualization best practices and creating compelling data stories.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with AI and machine learning concepts and tools.Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.One or more of the following certifications: CompTIA SecurityX, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), CompTIA Cloud+, Cyber Secure Coder (CSC), GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD), GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC).Essential Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.A strong understanding of business processes and the ability to connect data insights to business objectives.Peraton OverviewPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
