Key Responsibilities- Take the lead in patient care, addressing a diverse range of medical issues and injuries.
- Quickly assess and treat patients, particularly during acute illness or trauma situations.
- Collaborate closely with the emergency room team leader and acute care nurse to uphold the highest care standards.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on urgent needs.
- Develop and implement tailored care plans in partnership with the healthcare team.
- Administer treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide education to patients and families, customized to their specific needs.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver care in a fair and respectful manner.
- Follow safety protocols and infection control measures diligently.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting.
- Current licensure in good standing in California.
- ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications are mandatory; NRP and TNCC must be obtained within one year of hire.
