Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Yard Workers to join our team in Brighton, MI. This role involves working outdoors in a trailer lot, where you will be responsible for unloading returned trailers and rent-able add-ons such as tables and chairs. You will also be tasked with loading these items into a box truck and driving them from the lot to the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Unload returned trailers and rent-able add-ons, including furniture.
• Load furniture and additions into a box truck.
• Drive the box truck from the trailer lot to the warehouse.
• Ensure safety and efficiency in transporting goods.

• 1+ year of outdoor labor experience or construction, such as landscaping, yard work, scrap metal yard work, roofing, or mechanic work.
• 1+ year of box truck driving experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more repeatedly.

• Self-sufficient and motivated.
• Go-getter attitude.

Work Environment

The yard workers will be working outside in the trailer lot, exposed to various weather conditions without air conditioning. Workers must be comfortable driving between lots and should wear steel-toed shoes or boots. The shift runs from 6am to 2:30pm with a half-hour lunch break, and there may be opportunities for overtime or longer days during the summer.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brighton, MI.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Brighton,MI.
