Project Manager
We are looking for a Project Manager to join an industry-leading organization to drive Mining and Aggregate Construction-related projects throughout a key region. The role will focus on developing company-wide strategies related to managing projects company-wide in a more efficient manner. We are seeking someone that is up to the challenge of growing and improving project-related efforts across the board. This organization is very stable and takes care of its people.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Leadership teams in all aspects of aggregate base and asphalt paving installations in accordance with DOT, local and commercial plans, and specifications.
- Project planning, permitting, cost estimating, design, drafting, scheduling, and reporting
- Providing detailed designs for plant retrofit and modification projects
- Assist in the coordination of outside engineering, fabrication, and erection services
- Preparing proposals, cost estimates and justifications for future work
- Scheduling work to meet completion dates, technical specifications, functional requirements, and budget constraints
- May be called upon at the discretion of management to perform other duties not listed
- Up to 30% travel
Requirements
- 3+ years of related engineering experience
- 2+ years of practical work experience
- Working knowledge of structural, civil, and mechanical design of aggregate processing plants or related field
- Working knowledge of concrete foundation designs and power transmission systems
- Working knowledge of surveying and drafting equipment
- Working knowledge of underground mining practices and equipment
- Strong detail drafting and steel design with drafting software such as AutoCAD or Inventor
- Working knowledge of MS Windows systems (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint)
- Experience with erection, modification and rebuild of aggregate and asphalt plants
- Experience with design and aligning production needs with plant capacities
- Ability to analyze production processes using tools such as AggFlow and identify enhancements that eliminate bottlenecks and increase efficiency
