Entry-Level Press OperatorWe're looking for an Entry-Level Press Operator for 1st Shift at our Newburyport facility.Location: Newburyport, MA, 100% OnsiteResponsibilities:Perform all work in a safe manner, using appropriate PPE and following safety guidelines for the assigned task.Operate presses – 2-ton to 100-tonConsistently follow documented production instructionsPerform visual inspection while running pressesMaintain a neat and clean work area at all timesFollow all applicable AS9100 quality proceduresRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentMust be proficient in the English language, both verbal and written.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated mechanical ability is strongly preferred.Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferredWorking Conditions:Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Acknowledgements:The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
