CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring Press Operators in Hampton, NH! We are seeking an experienced and quality-driven Flexographic Press Operator to join our manufacturing team in Hampton, NH. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed packaging products that meet customer specifications, production schedules, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses according to production orders and job specifications.
• Review order tickets and ensure the correct materials, inks, plates, dies, and press settings are used for each job.
• Run test samples and make adjustments to achieve proper print quality, color matching, die-cutting accuracy, and registration.
• Fine-tune press settings throughout production to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance personnel to obtain first-piece approval prior to full production runs.
• Ensure all product specifications and quality standards are consistently met throughout production.
• Monitor print quality continuously and make corrections as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records and promptly report production issues.
• Perform routine press maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Previous experience operating flexographic printing presses.
• Experience in flexible packaging, labels, converting, printing, or related manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of color matching, registration, die-cutting, and print quality standards.
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes and production documentation.
• Experience performing press set-ups, changeovers, and basic maintenance.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret ruler measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
