CNC Machinist

Position SummaryACAL Precision Products is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. This position requires a highly skilled individual capable of independently setting up and operating CNC machinery, selecting tooling, interpreting blueprints, and determining the machining process from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and experience working in a precision manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines independentlySelect, install, and adjust tooling and workholding as requiredRead and interpret blueprints, layouts, and engineering drawingsDetermine machining sequence and manufacturing process from raw material to finished partVerify dimensions and inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications throughout runPerform offsets, tool changes, and machine adjustments as neededTroubleshoot machining and setup issues to maintain quality and efficiencyMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all company safety and quality proceduresQualificationsMinimum of 5 years CNC machining experience requiredStrong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds, and speedsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and GD&TExperience setting up jobs independently with minimal supervisionAbility to inspect parts using standard measuring equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience with the following equipment and controls is strongly preferred:MazakOkumaHurcoAdditional RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand for extended periodsReliable attendance and strong work ethicTeam-oriented attitude with the ability to work independentlyACAL Precision Products offers a team-oriented environment focused on precision, quality, and continuous improvement.You should be proficient in:Equipment TroubleshootingCNC ToolingCNC ProgrammingPreventive Maintenance & InspectionCNC Machine Setup & ChangeoverPrecision Measurement & Hand MetrologyTroubleshooting CNC MachinesManual Machining SkillsMachines & technologies you'll use:CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Hurco)Thread Gauges (GO/NO-GO)CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC)Calipers and MicrometersHorizontal Machining Center (3-4 axis) (Makino) #J-18808-Ljbffr
