As a Billing Representative, you'll help support the systems, processes, and account activities that keep our operations running smoothly while providing excellent service to our members and customers.This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in billing operations, customer account management, payment processing, and utility systems while working closely with teams across the organization.What You'll DoAs a Billing Representative, you'll support a variety of billing and operational functions that directly impact customer account accuracy and the overall customer experience.Responsibilities include:Processing and documenting payment-related transactionsReviewing and verifying billing reports for accuracy and completenessRunning and monitoring recurring billing and system processesResearching, investigating, and resolving discrepanciesResponding to billing adjustments and account-related requestsMaintaining accurate records and documentationCollaborating with Customer Care, Accounting, and Operations teamsAssisting with process improvements that enhance billing accuracy and efficiencyServing as a backup resource for mail processing and payment application functionsWhat We're Looking ForSuccessful candidates are:Highly detail-oriented and committed to accuracyStrong problem-solvers who enjoy investigating issues and finding solutionsOrganized and dependable with the ability to manage competing prioritiesComfortable working independently while also collaborating with othersConfident using computer systems, reports, and dataEffective communicators with a customer-focused mindsetWhat You'll NeedHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience in billing, accounting, banking, administrative support, customer service, or related fields preferredStrong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processesExperience working with reports, spreadsheets, data, or financial information is beneficialUtility billing experience is helpful but not required.
